Bright Star is a bluegrass-inspired musical with music, book, and story by Steve Martin and Edie Brickell. Set in the American South during the 1920s and 1940s, the story follows Alice Murphy, a literary editor with a painful past. The narrative weaves between her youth and adulthood, revealing a love affair, a mysterious child given up for adoption, and a journey of personal redemption. As Alice crosses paths with Billy, a young soldier and aspiring writer with dreams of his own, long-buried secrets come to light. Known for its heartfelt story, rich characters, and lively score, Bright Star captures themes of love, loss, and the search for identity in a unique, poignant way.

Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for students.
