Quarantined Quartet is a Brooklyn based family guitar ensemble blending flamenco, classical, rock, jazz, pop, Latin, and original music into a dynamic live performance experience. Founded in 2020 by professional guitarists Jason and Elysa Hochman, co-founders of the New York Guitar Academy, the group grew to include their sons Joseph and Noah, both students at LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts. What began as nightly music making during lockdown (thus the Quarantined Quartet) evolved into a global online phenomenon, earning the group residencies at Tavern on the Green, sold out Candlelight Concerts and appearances on national television. Quarantined Quartet brings to Memorial Auditorium an unforgettable evening of four guitars, one family, and music that crosses generations and genres.
