With the November elections approaching, FORWARD Worthington invites you to join us for our 2026 Candidate Forums on Thursday, October 15, at the Worthington Memorial Auditorium.
These forums provide an opportunity for voters to hear directly from candidates seeking to represent our community at the local and state levels. Candidates will answer questions about issues affecting Worthington, Southwest Minnesota, and the State as a whole, helping voters make informed decisions before heading to the polls.
Participating Candidates & Forum Schedule
Worthington City Council
Ward 1: Mariajose Saenz and Amy Woitalewicz
Ward 2: Mike Kuhle
Minnesota House of Representatives – Districts 21A & 21B
District 21A: Krist Wollum (Republican) and Rusty Nelson (DFL)
District 21B: Marj Fogelman (Republican) and Jon Wilson (DFL)
Minnesota Senate – District 21
Caitlyn Sanow-Minett (DFL)
Chris Knoll (Republican)
The evening will begin with the Worthington City Council forums, followed by a combined forum featuring candidates from Minnesota House Districts 21A and 21B. We will conclude with the Minnesota Senate District 21 forum.
Each forum will follow a moderated question-and-answer format, allowing candidates to share their perspectives and positions on issues relevant to the offices they are seeking.
We encourage all community residents to attend. This is an opportunity to learn more about the individuals seeking to represent you.
